Create Excel Spreadsheets from Your Mobile
Microsoft has launched a very handy feature to its Excel mobile apps for iOS and Android devices.
It allows Excel users to take photos on their phones of printed data tables and automatically turns them into Excel spreadsheets.
The feature is being rolled out initially for Android devices, before also being launched as an Excel iOS app in the next few weeks.
Microsoft is using artificial intelligence (AI) to implement the feature with image recognition so that Excel users don’t have to manually input hardcopy data. The feature is available to Microsoft 365 users.
Alongside this AI-powered feature, Microsoft is also bringing Microsoft Account security alerts to its Authenticator app.
These security alerts work for personal accounts like Outlook.com, and include notifications for when an account password is changed or other security-related account activity. The alerts are available immediately as part of Microsoft Authenticator for both iOS and Android.
